Sadly another unnamed elder has died of complications from neglect, malnourishment, decubitus ulcers, dehydration and end stage dementia. Medical officials said the wounds could have been prevented with proper care.

This is a very typical scenario these days of what happens to elders and Dependant adults residing in long term care facilities. Infections are also a major cause of injury and death to elder and dependant adults confined to medical facilities obligated to take care of them.
