LACK OF HYGIENE THE CAUSE OF ECOLI INFECTIONS IN NURSING HOMES AND LONG TERM CARE FACILITIES

ECOLI infections occurring in health care settings are becoming very prevalent in Nursing Homes and Long Term Care Facilities. If a resident lives in a nursing home where hygiene, cleanliness and appropriate medical care are lacking, that resident may be subject to a potentially life threatening ECOLI infection. If your loved one acquired any kind of infection / bedsore in a nursing home, please contact the Peck Law Group, APC toll free at 1-866-999-9085.

ECOLI infections occur in a healthcare settings such as nursing homes, long term care facilities and hospitals due to lack of hygiene.  Elders with infected bedsores incur ECOLI infections because of lack of attention. These infections lead to Sepsis, (infection of the blood), which may prove to be fatal.

Elders in diapers, with Bedsores, that are not regularly cleaned up,  tend to incur ECOLI infections.  Hygiene is very very important in order to keep our elders as healthy as possible.  The failure to practice Hygiene control is tantamount to neglect.
