Catastrophic Serious Injuries Are Caused by Negligent Commercial Truck Drivers A catastrophic crash involving a school and a commercial truck in California killed 11 people, including nine children between the ages of 11 and 16. The children were among members of a swim team traveling home from a competition. The commercial truck sideswiped the school bus causing it to roll over.

Rainy , cold, slippery conditions seem to have been a cause of the accident. Many of the children sustained serious injuries some of them life threatening.

Commercial Truck drivers many times are either on drugs, fall asleep at the wheel, texting or using their phones, or are not able to contain their vehicles because of treacherous road conditions.
