The latest issue in the realm of Long Term Care is the withholding of payments for long term care claims. Long Term Care Insurance is needed in many instances to provide the money needed for the care of the elderly when they are in need of long term care in Skilled Medical Nursing Facilities or in Long Term Care Assisted Living facilities.

When the time comes for the Elder to make a claim for the Long Term Care insurance that they thought was in place to pay for their long term care, the claims are often denied. This can cause the potential claimant severe emotional distress and complete bewilderment as they were assured by the insurer that their claims would be processed prudently and efficiently.
