Vote Yes on Prop 46

Vote Yes on Prop 46

Vote YES on Prop 46. Please review a list of things you can do to spread the word:

Start sending educational emails to clients, friends and family. Here’s a draft that you can run with right now. More will be coming in the weeks to come.

Download our fact sheets (linked here). Then print them out. Put them in your office. Share them with friends. Email them around. There are long ones, short ones, Q&A’s and news stories.

Like the campaign on Facebook. Follow it on Twitter. Spread the truth by retweeting items or posting them yourself. A bunch of suggested tweets and Facebook posts can be found here

Order our glossy campaign brochure (just snap off an email by clicking here). They’re free. Just say how many you want. Then pass them out. To everyone.

Use your voice. Go talk to clubs and organizations. Volunteer for our speaker’s bureau by sending an email to bureau coordinator Julia Paskin (click here). Go canvass your neighborhood. Burn some shoe leather for justice.  Put a bumper sticker on your car.

About Proposition 46  Proposition 46 would: 1) require random drug testing of doctors at California hospitals; 2) require doctors to consult a statewide database before prescribing addictive narcotics to a patient for the first time, in order to prevent “doctor-shopping”; and 3) update California’s lowest-in-the-nation cap on noneconomic damages in medical malpractice cases to reflect nearly four decades of inflation since it was enacted in 1975, in order to increase medical provider accountability. For more information
