What and What Not to Do After You Are Injured

car accidents, personal injury attorneys, what to do and not do after an accidentMany times during our lifetimes events transpire which may cause us or our loved ones to experience Personal Injury and thus have to make a Personal Injury claim for pain and suffering, medical expenses past, present and future and loss of earnings. It is extremely important for ones Health and Safety to immediately seek competent medical attention to ascertain the scope and the extent of your injuries.  Proper medical care will go a long way in your attempt to have your personal injury claim resolved.  The Peck Law Group can help you obtain the proper medical care for your personal injury claim, and in most instances without any out of pocket cost to the injured party.

Depending on what type of accident you are involved in, it is always best to get the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of any people involved in the accident, and to also obtain the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of any witnesses to the accident.  If you or your loved one is unable to do so, get a copy of a police report that may have that information.  Also be cautioned as to what you say to another individual in the accident and what you may say to the police, as those statements may be held against you in a court of Law.
